The Knitting Circle
A discreet informal talking shop fuelled by the comforts of life and the company of kindred creative spirits
“Nothing matters, and everything matters.”
Leonard Woolf
As the name implies, this is more of an informal, fairly unstructured and occasional meeting of minds. A discreet number of kindred creative spirits, with the aim of knocking about inspiring thoughts and tangential ideas in no particular order.
Generally, it's about doing a bit of creative musing - or maybe even work, dare I say it, among friends. At The Loom, there's plenty of opportunity to loaf around and read, paint, sketch, write, design. Talk to others, or talk to nobody, stick around or go for a walk or cycle in the beautiful countryside.

Then, when the sun goes down, share thoughts over a meal and/or a bottle or two of wine. No particular aim, just the joy of debating and philosophising on creativity - it's purpose, process and impact, be it visual, functional, literary or scientific.

And the metaphysical doesn't have to be physical. One can get together in virtual space with how many or whomever you like via Zoom - and maybe still share a glass together while you do it! Lovely.
